पञ्चीकरणम् _pañcīkaraṇam

पञ्चीकरणम् A philosophical term meaning the action by which anything is constituted of the five elements; (1/2 of one and 1/8 of other four elements) द्विधा द्विधा चेकैकं चतुर्धा पञ्चमं पुनः । स्वस्वेतरद्वितीयांशैर्योजनात् पञ्च पञ्च ते ॥ Vedāntasāra 39.42.
